Oregon: Deadline for comments is fast approaching

The Workers' Compensation Division proposed changes to rules that would require workers' compensation insurers and self-insured employers to report to the director e-mail addresses for their organizations and any service companies, such as third-party administrators, that service their claims.

Insurers and self-insured employers must also provide contact information for a designated person of position within the company who will assure payment of penalties and resolution of collection issues resulting from orders issued by the director. Written comments are accepted by e-mailing fred.h.bruyns@state.or.us until July 29.
