Florida: Division sets assessment rates for 2012

The Division of Workers' Compensation set the assessment rate for the workers' compensation administration trust fund for the calendar year of 2012.

Beginning Jan. 1, 2012, the rate is 1.75 percent. The division also set the assessment rate for the special disability trust fund for the calendar year of 2012. Beginning Jan. 1, 2012, the rate is 1.44 percent. The special disability trust fund rate of 1.46 percent applies to the time period of July 1 through Dec. 31.
