California: Medical mileage rate increases

The Division of Workers' Compensation announces that the mileage rate for medical and medical-legal travel expenses has increased.

The new rate of 55.5 cents per mile went into effect on July 1. The rate must be paid for travel on or after July 1, regardless of the date of injury. An updated mileage reimbursement form is posted on the division's website.
