Changes to rules will clarify that neither premiums paid nor reimbursements to employers for the stay-at-work program will be included in calculations for retro adjustments. The rules will also identify information needed when retro employers pay for direct care services for their workers who have industrial injury or occupational disease claims. The changes also modify the definition and conditions of prohibited conduct by retro participants. Comments should be e-mailed to Tim Smolen at tim.smolen@lni.wa.gov.
