Alaska: Amendments would tweak medical benefits rules
The Department of Labor and Workforce Development and the Workers' Compensation Board proposed amendments to rules dealing with compensation, medical benefits, and proceedings before the board.
A proposed amendment sets out information that a medical provider must include in the physician's report. It also removes requirements to use the board's form and that the provider must file the report with the board. Another amendment adds requirements for the employer to file and serve the physician's report. Another rule adds a definition for "previously rehabilitated."
