The rule adopts the rate paid by employers based on their workers' compensation premium and collected by the insurer at the time the employer pays the premium. The rule also adopts the rate collected from self-insured employers and self-insured employer groups. A public hearing regarding the rates is scheduled for Oct. 11 at 2 p.m. at 350 Winter Street NE, conference room 260 in Salem. The department is accepting written comments until Oct. 13. Those with questions should contact Win Lombardi by telephone at (503) 947-7866 or by e-mail at winifred.c.lombardi@state.or.us. For full text of the proposed rule, visit www.oregon.gov/DCBS/DIR/rules.shtml.
