Florida: Division changes proposed rules for reimbursement manuals

The Division of Workers' Compensation revised proposed rules regarding the workers' compensation health care provider reimbursement manual and the reimbursement manual for ambulatory surgical care centers.

The rules adopt by reference the Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System, Level II as a resourceful compilation of codes. The rules update the manuals to the 2011 editions. In the manuals, a reimbursement amount for an insurer's request for medical records was deleted.
