Washington: Six premium rate hearings scheduled
The Department of Labor and Industries proposed a 2.5 percent average increase to workers' compensation premium rates.
Individual employers' rates will depend on their recent claims history and also on changes in the frequency and cost of claims in their industry. The department has scheduled six public hearings from Oct. 25-28. The department is also accepting written comments until 5 p.m. on Nov. 4.
