Tennessee: Registration fee on the table at hearing

The Division of Business Services proposed to amend a rule on workers' compensation exemption registration.

The proposed rule changes the definition of "engaged in the construction industry." The rule also provides that the fee for the issuance of a second or subsequent construction services provider workers' compensation exemption registration is $20. The fee for the filing of a second or subsequent construction services provider workers' compensation exemption renewal is $20. A public hearing is scheduled for Nov. 18 at 2 p.m. at 312 Rosa L. Parks Ave., Snodgrass Tower, 6th floor conference room in Nashville. Those with questions should contact Nathan Burton at nathan.burton@tn.gov.
