Nebraska: Court looks to change certain fee schedules

The Workers' Compensation Court proposed amendments to rules regarding the schedule of fees for medical, surgical, and hospital services and the first report of alleged occupational injury or illness.

The court also proposed to adopt a revised schedule of fees for hospitals and ambulatory surgical centers and for implantable medical devices. The court also proposed to adopt a new rule regarding judicial vacancy. A public hearing to accept comments on the proposals is scheduled on Dec. 15 at 9:30 a.m. in courtroom 1, 1010 Lincoln Mall, Suite 100 in Lincoln. A public meeting to adopt the revisions is scheduled on Dec. 15 at 1:30 p.m. in the same location. Comments should be submitted to Su Davis at su.davis@nebraska.gov.
