The rules require four copies of a claim for compensation to be filed. A claim against the multiple injury trust fund must include the percentage of permanent partial impairment or disability. The rule also states that an employer has the obligation to provide an injured worker with reasonable and necessary medical treatment and to commence temporary compensation if the worker is disabled and unable to return to work for more than seven calendar days. The rules also provide that an employer can terminate temporary benefits if the worker is incarcerated for a misdemeanor or felony conviction. The court scheduled public hearings on Dec. 7 and Dec. 8.
