New Mexico: Comp agency may raise anesthesia payment rate

The Workers' Compensation Administration proposed changes to rules regarding payments for health care services.

The administration extended the comment period to Nov. 23 after receiving a request to review the anesthesia maximum allowable payment rate. The administration recommended raising the rate to $53.07 per time unit after comparing the rates in nearby states.
