Rules would also expand Centers for Occupational Health and Education. Rules would be established for when an injured worker of the state fund and self-insured employers can have access to a non-network provider for an initial visit. Standards would also be created to expand evidence-based best practices for the medical provider network or a second tier of providers within the network. Comments should be emailed to Jami Lifka at jami.lifka@lni.wa.gov. For more information, visit www.lni.wa.gov/rules/AO11/22/1122CR101.pdf.
