Washington: Department seeks input on classifications

The Department of Labor and Industries issued a preproposal statement of inquiry regarding rules on classifications for workers' compensation insurance.

The department determined that certain rules regarding its classification plan are in need of revision. The department plans to solicit input from the business community. It will use the input to formulate proposed changes to the rules. Comments should be submitted to smij235@lni.wa.gov.
