Ohio: Bureau reviews discount rules for return to work
The Bureau of Workers' Compensation proposed amendments to rules regarding the comprehensive discount program that focuses on return to work for injured workers.
New discounts and discount program changes will be effective for the policy year beginning July 1 for private employers and Jan. 1, 2013, for public employer taxing districts. The bureau also proposed to rescind a rule allowing a discount for employers who have not incurred a compensable injury for one calendar year or more and maintains a safety committee. The scheduled public hearing has passed.
