Jennifer Christian. Dr. Christian is described as "a thought leader and innovator in the prevention of needless work disability and the improvement of medical outcomes in workers' compensation and disability benefits systems." As president of Webility Corp., a training and consulting company, she has recently pioneered the Maze-Masters program, which provides direct service to individuals.
Dr. Christian is the award-winning founder and chair of the nonprofit 60 Summits Project, moderator of the multidisciplinary Work Fitness & Disability Roundtable, and chair of the Work Fitness & Disability Section of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
She is a board-certified occupational medicine physician and earned both her medical and public health degrees from the University of Washington in Seattle.
Jill Dulich.
Ms. Dulich has served as senior director for Marriott claims services since 1983. She is responsible for managing workers' comp, auto, and general liability losses for all Marriott managed operations within eight western states and three satellite offices in Hawaii, Oregon, and Nevada.
Since receiving her B.S., M.A., and J.D., Ms. Dulich has served in a variety of organizations. She was a former commissioner and 2003 chair of the California Commission on Health and Safety and Workers' Compensation; former chair of the board and executive committee chair of the California Self Insurers Association; an active participant in the Workers Compensation Research Institute CompScope Advisory Committee; the Claims Committee chair and trustee for the Self Insurers Security Fund; and program chair and board member for the Self Insurance Guaranty Funds of America.
Maureen Gallagher. Ms. Gallagher is the Michigan managing director and real estate and workers' compensation brands leader in the 14th-largest U.S. broker, Neace Lukens, an AssuredPartners company. She previously held the position of president and CEO of Acordia of Michigan (Wells Fargo) after heading up her own agency for more than 10 years.
Risk and InsuranceŽ Magazine recognized Ms. Gallagher as a "power broker," which indentifies the best brokers in the country. She was named by Crain's Detroit Business as one of the "best and brightest," one of "Detroit's most influential women," and one of the "50 Fittest CEOs."
A member of the American Bar Association, she serves on the teaching faculty for the National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research. Her passion for education inspired her to establish Insurance Partners Academy, an educational company, where she serves as director.
John Leonard.
Mr. Leonard is president and CEO of Maine Employers' Mutual Insurance Co. and MEMIC Indemnity Co. He began with the company's start in 1993 after a lengthy career with The Travelers.
Mr. Leonard is the 2011 board chair for NCCI and serves on its nominating and governance committee. He is also the 2011 chairman of the board of ACORD, the global standards setting organization serving the insurance industry, and serves on its executive committee. He is a former president of the American Association of State Compensation Insurance Funds and chairman of its executive committee. He also served as a member of the National Workers' Compensation Reinsurance Pool Board.
Mr. Leonard is on the board of directors of the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies and serves on the board of the American Society of Workers' Comp Professionals Inc., which awarded him its Legends Award in 2008.
Dave North. Mr. North is president and CEO of Sedgwick Claims Management Services Inc., a company he joined in 1995. During his nearly 30 years in risk management services, Mr. North also served as the global practice leader for risk services at a major brokerage and risk management consulting firm.
In 2010 and 2011, Mr. North was named to the list of "100 Most Powerful People in The Insurance Industry, North America" by the Insurance Media Association. He serves on the board of the Workers Compensation Research Institute, and he is past chairman of the board of the Integrated Benefits Institute.
Mr. North developed and taught the American Management Association course on Advanced Risk Management Strategies: Managing the Total Cost of Risk and coauthored the book The Art of Self-Insurance.
William Zachry. Mr. Zachry has been the vice president of risk management for Safeway Inc. since 2001. Prior to joining the nation's third-largest retail grocery company, he was senior vice president and COO of eStellerNet, an Internet business-to-business medical bill and attachment clearinghouse for the workers' comp industry, and spent several years as vice president of the Zenith Insurance Co., where he was responsible for staffing and claims results for the California claims operations.
Mr. Zachry was appointed by former Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger to the board of directors of the California State Compensation Insurance Fund. He was also the chair of the State of California Fraud Assessment Commission and served on the board of the Self-insurance Security Fund in California.
