Colorado: Division addresses life expectancy table, surcharge rate

The Division of Workers' Compensation proposed amendments to a rule updating the single life expectancy table and a rule regarding the premium surcharge rate.

The single life expectancy table will go into effect on July 1.

The proposed amendments regard a rule on the premium surcharge rate paid by carriers and self-insured employers. The amendments maintain the total surcharge at its current level.

A public hearing on both topics was scheduled for May 15.
