For the period from July 1 through June 30, 2013, the rate to be charged is 3.39 percent of gross direct premiums written for workers' compensation for risks located within the state, normal premiums for group self-insurance associations, and actual paid losses for individual self-insured employers. Assessments are due on the 15th day of the month following the end of the calendar quarter and are based on the payor's premiums or losses during the quarter. The assessment due on July 15 is to be calculated at the existing 1.98 percent rate.
