The rule provides the criteria for measuring and calculating the percentage of eye impairment. The new rule provides that measurements are based on uncorrected vision. Implantation of an intraocular lens is not a "correction" to the worker's vision under the rule. When an artificial lens is surgically implanted to replace the removed lens, it is a permanent restorative device and determination of impairment to vision is based on anatomical or functional loss of sight remaining after the lens is implanted.
