The division sought input from payers and providers at an e-billing advisory committee meeting on May 24. The division sought input on whether trading partners could be permitted to exchange electronic data in a non-prescribed format by mutual agreement. The division also sought input on whether a provider could be exempt from the requirement to submit bills electronically to an insurer if it employed fewer than five full-time employees or provided services to 10 or fewer injured workers during the previous calendar year.
