The informally proposed rules address the role of the medical quality review panel, the process to become a member of the panel, the medical quality review process, training, conflicts of interest, and rights and responsibilities of those involved in the medical quality review process. The comment period on the informal rules closed on June 6. The division anticipates formal publication of the rules in July.
