Pennsylvania: Bureau completes next step on electronic data interchange
The Bureau of Workers' Compensation published a draft electronic data interchange claims implementation guide and supporting documents.
The bureau will require the electronic submission of injury reports as part of its electronic data interchange implementation. Additional forms also may be required to be submitted through the workers' compensation automation and integration system. The bureau anticipates electronic data interchange to be implemented on Sept. 9, 2013. The bureau accepted comments until July 23.
