CDC modifies list of conditions for World Trade Center program

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention amended the World Trade Center health program regulations to add certain types of cancer to the list of covered health conditions.

The rule modifies the list of WTC-related health conditions to include malignant neoplasms of the lip, tongue, salivary gland, floor of the mouth, gums, nasopharynx, nose, esophagus, stomach, colon and rectum, liver, bronchus and lung, heart, soft tissues, skin, breast, ovary, kidney, eye, thyroid, blood, childhood cancers, and rare cancers.
