Proper screening key to success in disability program

Long-term workers' comp claimants who are still yearning for a better life are good candidates for the Maze-Masters program -- but claim files don't include that information, according to Dr. Jennifer Christian, president of Webility Corporation and founder of Maze-Masters.

That's why a several step screening process for candidates is essential.

"We don't want to waste our customer's money or our energy," she said. "This business only succeeds when we deserve the trust of all parties." The process begins with an invitation in which a Maze-Masters guide asks potential candidates if they want to explore whether the program might be a good fit. If so, an extensive phone interview follows, leading into a short trial period. Only clients who do their assigned projects and make progress are admitted to the regular program.
