New Hampshire: Department proposes changes to safety programs
The rule sets forth definitions, requirements, and procedures for joint loss management committees, safety programs, and the filing of safety summary forms. The rules carry out legislative changes that amended the requirements put on employers for filing a safety summary form and establishing safety committees. The proposed rules increase the minimum number of employees employed before these safety requirements apply to the employer and change the filing requirement for the employer from bi-annually to only once per year. The rule affects employers with five or more employees.
