Washington: Department updates general reporting rules
The Department of Labor and Industries adopted changes to a number of reporting rules, classifications, and a retrospective rating table header in the workers' compensation program.
The changes update language to reflect technology changes and make classification instructions and definitions clearer. Those with questions about classifications or reporting instructions should contact an account manager. The amendments do not change any of the department's reporting requirements. The changes go into effect on July 1.
