McQueary Henry Bowles Troy L.L.P. has announced the recent appointments of Carla Paschal and Ann Forkner as vice presidents of marketing in the firm's Dallas office.

CARLA PASCHAL joins MHBT with experience in large property placements, as well as very focused account management and placement expertise in specialized areas including real estate, hospitality and higher education. Paschal also serves as an account executive/producer responsible for producing and managing risk management clients.

Prior to joining MHBT, Paschal was an account executive/producer in the real estate practice group at Marsh USA, where she managed general delivery of all Marsh services to several large real estate clients. Preceding her position at Marsh, Paschal spent 23 years as an account executive/producer at Alexander & Alexander/Aon, where she managed production and service delivery to risk management clients and received national awards six times for outstanding client service.

ANN FORKNER joins MHBT with extensive experience as a property and casualty insurance broker, working in both retail and wholesale arenas. She has provided creative risk retention and risk transfer solutions for clients with premiums ranging up to $8 million, as well as coordinating marketing efforts on their behalf.

Most recently, Forkner spent 12 years as vice president for Marsh USA, marketing multi-line coverages. Prior to that position, she worked for 10 years as an assistant vice president and broker for Maclean, Oddy & Associates, where she handled both property and casualty lines with a focus on property, general liability and umbrella placements.

Willis Group Holdings has announced that SEAN COGAN has joined its Japan Practice Group as senior vice president and regional manager. He is based in Dublin, Ohio.

Formerly vice president and relationship manager at Aon, Sean Cogan has over 18 years of industry experience. While at Aon he worked in the company's Japan Group Americas.

Previously, he spent 13 years at Great American Insurance Co.'s, which acted as the U.S. underwriting manager for the Mitsui Marine and Fire Insurance Company. His responsibilities included location assignments to Mitsui Marine and Fire's New York and Tokyo offices as well as account management for key clientele which included Fortune 100 companies.

In his new position, Cogan is charged with developing and growing the Japan Practice Group, as well as assisting producers with organic growth tools, and establishing relationships with retail brokers while working to provide assistance on alternative market solutions.

LEIGH MILLS has joined Greene-Hazel & Associates, a Jacksonville-based Independent Insurance Agency, as an account executive, announced Theresa Greene Hazel, president of the insurance firm.

Mills, who will work in employee benefits sales, will assist in managing current accounts, as well as developing new business. Her work will involve providing medical, life, disability and dental products in a group environment.

Prior to joining Greene-Hazel, Mills was vice president for a Northeast Florida broker providing life, health, dental and disability insurance coverage to large employers in Jacksonville. Her career experience includes working in several independent insurance agencies, including positions such as risk manager of a home health agency, risk management consultant for an independent broker and office manager for a property and casualty broker.
