MARK ELLINGTON was named the commercial lines sales executive for the Jacksonville, N.C., branch office of SIA Group, a full-service insurance agency with five other offices throughout the state. Ellington will be responsible for maintaining existing client relationships and growing business development, as well as overseeing sales throughout the eastern region of North Carolina.

Smith Buckley & Hunt Insurance Agency named CHRIS SHEPPARD, CPCU, AFSB, as its new partner. The agency is out of Brockton, Mass., and has been in the business since 1875. Previous to joining the company, Sheppard worked for Liberty Mutual as a business sales representative in Providence, R.I., and Hartford, Conn.
