DERICK WHITE will be leaving the captive division of the Vermont Department of Banking, Insurance, Securities & Health Care Administration to take a position with consulting and captive management firm Strategic Risk Solutions. Effective February 1, 2008, White will become president of SRS' Vermont operations, responsible for development and management of the company's captive management business there, as well as for SRS activities in South Carolina, Washington, D.C., Kentucky, and other Eastern domiciles. White has been with the state government of Vermont since 1992. He leaves Vermont as director of captive insurance. Peter Raymond, who had been an examiner with the department for the last 16 years, will replace White as director. Sandy Bigglestone will take Raymond's place as director of financial examinations.
GLORIA "GEE GEE" ADAMS was named as the leader of the Atlanta sales efforts for GAB Robins North America Inc., the risk management service and solutions provider. Adams returns to GAB Robins after positions with Willis, Palmer & Cay and Frank Gates/Attenta. Before that, she had been in sales for GAB Robins from 1985 to 1999.
BRIAN L. EIGHMY
was named as president of Blue Leaf Claims Inc., a virtual claims administration company. Eighmy will be responsible for growth and overall operations.
ROCCO GRILLO
was promoted to managing director at risk consulting and auditing firm Protiviti Inc. he will continue his lead role in the firm's information security group, where he overseas the Northeastsecurity and data privacy solutions practice. Grillo joined the company in 2004, prior to which he was a regional director for Red Siren Technologies, an information security firm.
