Willis Group Holdings appointed VIC KRAUZE
as Willis North America's chief operating officer. He succeeds Tom Ealy, who is now leading the company's growing commercial and consumer segments for both the United States and Canada. Krauze, who joined Willis in 1997, most recently served as regional executive officer and national partner for the Central Region.
Hilb Rogal & Hobbs Co. appointed TAPAN KATWALA to regional IT leader for its Metro Northeast region, which includes New Jersey, New York, southern Connecticut and southeastern Pennsylvania. Previously, Katwala was vice president of IT for Banc of America Corporate Insurance Agency, a nonbank subsidiary of Bank of America that was acquired by HRH last November.
HRH also announced KEVIN C. HOGAN was hired as a vice president in its Cranford, N.J., office, and will be working on new business development and business relationship management. Previously, Hogan was an assistant vice president at Marsh.
Lockton Cos. hired PAM DEVLING as an assistant vice president and consulting actuary. Devling will provide advice to clients on pension plans and retiree medical plans with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions. She previously was a senior associate with Mercer, a global human resources consulting firm, for seven years. Lockton also expanded its Chicago employee benefits team with the hire of NANCY DAAS
as vice president and unit manager. Immediately prior to joining Lockton, Daas was a principal consultant with Mercer Health & Benefits in Chicago.
Wells Fargo Insurance Services' ABD Insurance and Financial Services division hired MICHAEL FITZPATRICK and SCOTT FUHRMAN as sales executives in the company's Transportation Services Division located in Torrance, Calif. Both join the group from Pac Global Insurance Brokerage Inc. Fitzpatrick worked on new business development, account management and contract negotiations. Fuhrman previously managed operations including claims administration, accounts receivable, and staff hiring and training.
