ALEJANDRA EVANS was appointed executive vice president of business development for Allied North America, the independent insurance and surety brokerage firm that serves the construction industry. Evans will be responsible for growing the firm's offices in Miami and Washington, D.C., and Project Technologies International, its national wrap-up subsidiary. She will also be available as a resource for all Allied North America clients. Evans will answer to Henry Lombardi, president and chief operating officer. Formerly of Wachovia Insurance Services, Evans was named a Risk & Insurance® Construction Power Broker for 2008.
CHAD KARASAKI was named managing director of Aon Construction Services Group and chairman and CEO of the Aon Honolulu office. Karasaki comes to Aon by way of Marsh, where he worked for 22 years, last as the head of its Hawaii office.
Lockton Insurance Brokers expanded its San Francisco presence with a construction and surety team made up of three new associates: JEFF PROVOST, TONY PAGE
and SUMAN TOOR. Provost will be vice president and leader of the construction and surety practice in San Francisco, having come from Marsh where he was responsible for business development and client management for its western region surety practice. Page will be senior vice president, responsible for providing customer service and negotiating coverage for the office's construction clients. He had been a construction risk management consultant with ABD Insurance & Financial Services. Toor will be account manager and in charge of surety bond programs. She comes from Gallagher Constriction Services, where she was an account manager.
