KRISTIAN P. MOOR was named the president and CEO of the AIG Property Casualty Group, the insurance giant's newly revamped and renamed Domestic General Insurance operation. The new AIG Property Casualty Group will include the AIG Commercial Insurance Group (previously known as the AIG Domestic Brokerage Group), the AIG Domestic Personal Lines companies, United Guaranty Corp., and the Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Co. Moor has been with AIG since 1981.

Also named to new positions in the reorganization were KEVIN H. KELLEY and JOHN Q. DOYLE. Kelley was named executive vice president of AIG Property Casualty Group and president of AIG Domestic Personal Lines. Kelley will also remain on as chairman and CEO of Lexington Insurance Co., where he started in 1975. Doyle was named executive vice president of AIG Property Casualty Group and president of AIG Commercial Insurance Group. Doyle started at National Union in 1986.

KEVIN PRIOR was named president of the Independence Casualty and Surety subsidiary of ICW Group. With the insurance group for 18 years, Prior will remain on as president and CEO of ICW Group and president of another subsidiary, Explorer Insurance Co.

ICW Group has also promoted DOUG BROWNE to the position of senior vice president and managing director of its Surety Division. He will be responsible for its day-to-day operations. Browne joined the company 10 years ago and most recently served as senior vice president of surety.

LARRY HAEFNER was named chief actuary of CNA's insurance subsidiaries. Haefner, who comes by way of Travelers Cos. Inc., where he was also chief actuary, replaces Michael Fusco.

SCOTT F. FOREE was promoted to the position of vice president in the marketing department of McQueary Henry Bowles Troy LLP, a privately owned insurance and risk management services provider. A professional with 31 years in the industry, Foree will be responsible for negotiating and placing large commercial insurance programs.
