HARRY BAUMGARTNER
was named senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary for GAB Robins, a global risk and claims management services provider. As such, he will be responsible for providing legal counsel to all GAB Robins companies across the globe. Baumgartner had been director of risk management and corporate counsel for BASF Corp.
CHARLES R. SCHADER was announced as the new chief claims officer for general insurance for the American International Group Inc. The move is part of AIG's consolidation of its General Insurance Claims operation. Schader will be in charge of the claims operations of both the AIG Foreign General Insurance and AIG Property Casualty Group. Schader started at AIG in 1984 and was elected AIG senior vice president-claims in 2000.
As part of the consolidation of its claims operations, AIG also announced that RICHARD C. WOOLLAMS was named senior vice president and chief claims officer for AIG Commercial Insurance Group. He will report to Schader and John Q. Doyle, president of AIG Commercial Insurance.
GERALDINE A. HENLEY
was named vice president, director of claims, for Commerce Insurance Services, a privately held insurance brokerage firm. Henley came by way of The Graham Co., where she worked for 15 years and finished as a senior claims consultant.
TERRY A. GRANT was appointed executive director, sales & marketing, at National Claims Professionals Inc., which serves both local markets and the alternative risk market. Grant has more than four decades of experience in insurance claims.
