NATHAN HUGHES was named national healthcare practice leader for Wells Fargo Insurance Services Inc. Based out of Bloomington, Minn., Hughes will be responsible for providing support and industry expertise to team members throughout the Wells Fargo organization, as well as clients and prospective customers. He will continue to act as senior vice president of Wells Fargo Insurance Services of Minnesota, where he serves physician groups, integrated healthcare delivery systems and other healthcare clients.

DONOVAN NOWELL was tapped to lead Noodle Specialty Brokers, the program management division of InsuranceNoodle. Nowell most recently headed up the executive risks department for small and medium entities. He also helped build the first managing general agent program with Noodle Specialty Brokers.

Willis also announced that MARK BROMELL is heading up its new captive management operation in Malta, Willis Management (Malta) Ltd. The new operation already has its first company, Biffa, a U.K.-based private integrated waste management company.

JIM STANILIOUS was named managing director of the complex property claims practice at Hilb Rogal & Hobbs Co. Stanilious has been with HRH since his former employer, Banc of America Corporate Insurance Agency, was acquired by the brokerage firm in 2007. He has served as co-regional claims manager for the HRH Metro Northeast Region and been a member of the National Claims Practice Team.

HRH also announced that HARRY A. DINGER JR. was named to the position of senior vice president and surety practice leader for its Metro Northeast region. He will be responsible for delivery of surety service to commercial and construction clients and for the region's overall operations. Dinger comes with more than 25 years experience.

Wortham Insurance & Risk Management, the largest independent broker in Texas, made several new appointments, all to the position of associate director. These include: ENRIQUE GOMEZ (information technology); GAVIN HURD (marine and energy); RYAN O. SMITH (executive sales); and BRIAN D. WELLS (commercial property).
